
ABOUT ME
As a child and teenager I was never very active, and was very self-conscious and body-conscious. I now love many forms of physical activity, including cycling, climbing, acroyoga, hiking and dance. Yoga helps with all of these things, building strength and flexibility safely, building a good proprioceptive (or mind-body) awareness, and more importantly, building confidence in myself.
My number one yoga tool: The Beginner's Mind! If we practice every posture and breathe every breath as if for the first time, we can approach them without judgment or criticism, but instead with a sense of curiosity and compassion.
