I have been teaching yoga since 2013. I am dedicated to creating a safe, careful yoga practice that fosters both strength and flexibilty in body and mind. I have practiced many styles of yoga over the years, and continue to do so. For me, there doesn't seem to be one 'style' which is totally balanced and complete, which is why in my own practice, and in my teaching, I try to integrate aspects of several different disciplines, including the precision of Iyengar, the strength of Ashtanga, the meditative focus of Sivananda.

 

I also specialise in the therapeutic application of yoga, using yoga techniques to help with a variety of physical and psychological problems, including back pain, knee problems, hip pain, osteoporosis, peri-menopause / menopause, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, postural issues.  Please see the Therapeutics page for more information.

 

Yoga is not just physical exercise, it is about cultivating a strong mind-body connection. For me, that comes through a precise, focused practice with great attention to detail and alignment. When we start to fully bring our awareness into the body, the mind becomes quiet.

GROUPS

I currently teach classes over Zoom twice per week:

 

Thursdays and Sundays

1.30pm EST / 6.30pm GMT

 

 These are beginner-friendly /open level, with options given for those ready to challenge themselves more.

PRIVATE SESSION

I am available for private or small group sessions over Zoom (or in person post-lockdown!)

£35 per hour; discounts given for block booking.

I have experience teaching various levels, from beginner to intermediate/advanced.

My students are all different ages and abilities, and I teach both very small and very large groups!
